I decided to do this sculpture in wood because first of all, I had this opportunity to work with this precious wood. It represents a pumping art and it is done with the heart of a tree that will in a way be eternalised with this sculpture. I tried to create this symbol that is half real, the veins of the wood, and is half iconic, as he shape of the heart is not actually like this. I didn't know that the scent this wood would give would be so strong but it gives off a beautiful essence.
