So StrawberryLove was at the beginning HoledHeart but when I took it to different marble studios in Carrara they all started to call it fragola which is strawberry in Italian. It wanted to represent a heart that's full of holes but still has it's own flames. But the perception of the people changed it forever and it became a more tropical and fresh symbol of summer love. It's the game between something really hard, the marble, and something really light, which are the holes. The holes make it appear as a sort of lace quite impossible to do. In the end it's the symbol of burning passion. It is done in white statuary Carrara marble and it's the fruit of a collaboration between myself and one of the most famous sculpture studio in Pietrasanta, Italy.
