For me the inspiration is always thinking of a fabric in specific places that I've seen in my life. I don't know why I link a vase to fabric, but it came quite naturally. The fabric that inspired this vase was a paisley fabric curtain that I saw in the Ziegfield Follies Theater in New York during the early 80's. I stayed all night staring at this woven fabric that has been in printed in my head since. xx, KUKY
