I got married for the first time in 1992. The day before the wedding it was a fantastic Indian Summer day. When I woke the next morning it was a disaster. It was a flood and I immediately thought of the 200 guests attending the party in my future in-law's country house. It was a real disaster but I guess because of the young love and the young age, for my wife and me that morning smelled like lettuce, coral and hydrangea, like white birds on a branch on a pale pink sky. xx, KUKY
